Today I'm thankful for...
Past examples of assignments posted on websites!
This one is completely dedicated to all of my UT friends!
So as I mentioned yesterday, I'm a huge procrastinator, and it's still true today (ha ha). I'm working on an assignment for one of my classes that I may or may not have waited too long to have started, and I was a little stuck on how to format it. I didn't want to email the professor because doing so would be an admission of guilt that I had barely started and that I had probably missed some nugget of wisdom during class that completely explained how to do it. However, in my addled little brain, I remembered that this particular class (like some of the professor's other classes) had a website with assignments from past students. Now, this may seem like a gray area, but I can assure you I am in no way cheating off of these assignments. I am definitely seeing what format they put their papers in and structuring mine in a similar manner, but my content is completely different, and I am doing my own research. I get hung up on little details sometimes though, and seeing actual examples is extremely helpful for me. If any of my UT friends read this, please comment and tell me I'm not alone!
