Today I'm thankful for...

Awkward moments!

I know that's a weird thing to be thankful for, but yesterday was Awkward Moments Day (seriously, who comes up with this stuff??), so it made me think about all of the awkward moments I've had. I'm a little awkward at times most of the time, which doesn't seem like a good thing but it kinda is. When you have a lot of awkward moments, it forces you to learn how to respond to awkwardness. Sometimes, you make the situation worse, but sometimes you can turn it around. It also gives you a sense of humor. Really, how uptight can you be when you've sprayed spit across the table at a lunch with two co-workers (sorry about that)? The next time you have an awkward moment, see how you can turn it into something wonderful...or even more awkward.
